Thank you Sophie Pauken, Development Coordinator for Women's Empowerment International, for informing us about all the great work you are doing around the world to empower women with tools to work their way out of poverty, care for their families, and strengthen their communities. WEI provides vital grants to high-impact, vetted nonprofit partners implementing economic empowerment programs for women experiencing poverty, locally and around the world.
They have provided over $60,000 in help and funding to one of our partners, OEF in El Salvador, who we visited last year on their 40th anniversary, and saw first hand many of the projects they support. Please join Susan Hennenfent, fellow DMSB Rotarian/WEI Board Member & former President, and others to celebrate all of their accomplishments on October 4.
