THE ROTARY PINS COMES OUT OF HIDING (THANKS TO ROB WEINBERG).
July 31, 2026 - DMSB Rotary hit the jackpot today with guest speaker Rob Weinberg - marketing whiz, prolific author (140+ books, no we did not miscount), and proof that Rotarians can absolutely bring the comedy. Rob's career in strategic planning, marketing and public speaking has taking him through decades of success. One interesting topic was about the Rotary Pin. This talk sent us digging though the supply container, and suddenly there was a whole stash pins sitting on the breakfast table like a garnish next to our bacon and eggs. No regrets!
So why should we wear the little pin every where we go?
It is a Promise, Not Just Bling: Slap it on and you are basically signing a tiny metal contract to live by "Service Above Self" - peace, health, the whole mission in pin form.
