- Susheela's knee replacement surgery is scheduled for 2/23 after a two year delay - she welcomes words of encouragement
- Lou is having drainage from his lungs today - we wish him the best
- And best wishes to Phil's mother who is in hospice & turned 92; who he cares for 24/7
- Susan is off to Pre-PETS this Saturday with PETS scheduled for 2/24-2/25 in LA
- Trish's band, Hot Rocks San Diego, will play at our Anniversary Party. Patricia & Suzanne will shortly be sampling a recommended caterer's barbeque (let them know if you'd like to join them)
- Art is in Sayulita for his son's 2/19 wedding
- Model UN training was last Saturday in preparation for April 2 & 3 with over 100 students attending virtually. One of the topics discussed was the possible Russian invasion of Ukraine

Colin Khoury with the San Diego Botanic Garden (formerly Quail Botanical Garden) showed how it has come a long way from its founding in 1970. This 37 acre urban oasis in Encinitas has more than 5000 plant species and varieties, including 300 plants that are only found at SDBG.
