DMSB Rotary recently welcomed its newest member Jason Strayer. Jason was born and raised in a small town in central Pennsylvania – Duncannon. He went to college at Bucknell University where he earned a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in biology. He has worked in the environmental consulting industry for nearly 35 years and has lived in Charlottesville, VA (where he met his wife Sheila); Oberursel, Germany (where their daughter, Chelsea, was born); Seattle, WA (where their son, Ian, was born), and now San Marcos, CA. Jason is a founder and part owner of Scout Environmental, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, headquartered in Encinitas. Jason likes to occasionally lose golf balls, putz around the yard, go to the gym, and enjoy a good cigar and some good bourbon.
