Meeting Re-Cap; "They're back!"

Friday's meeting started with the pledge and words of wisdom from Paul Butler.  Paul also reminded us August is "membership" month.  He challenged each of us to bring a guest this month!

We had many Happy Dollars from members returning from vacations, or in Susan's case "workcation".  Jan returned from Croatia.  Susheela from northern CA with family.

We had a GREAT write up in Carmel Valley News re: Stand Down, full of pictures of participants.  Thanks Charles!!   Kevin gave us an update on Youth activities coming up, he could use help.  If this is an area you are interested in volunteering, please let Kevin know.  Ken said the Jungle Medical Clinic III has been approved!  Vicky's turning the corner to 2015 Bocce with a photo op next week at the Horse Park, she would like as many Rotarians as possible in the shoot.

Susan introduced our speaker: Judy Sexton from Warrior Foundation, Freedom Station, serving seriously injured military returning home from war.
